Customizing Your Signs

1. Select a Pole

Special Lite Products traffic control poles are made from extruded aluminum with a maintenance free power coated base finish.  With a length of up to 16', our traffic poles are sure to meet your needs.

Choose from our 4" Square Pole, our 3" Outside Diameter Fluted Pole, or our 3” O/D Smooth Breakaway Sign Poles.  Our Breakaway Sign Poles are certified by the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration.

2. Select a Base

Adding a decorative base that fits over our square or round sign poles, adding a decorative touch to your signage.  Our sign pole bases complement both contemporary and traditional architecture as well as coordinating with our Commercial Lighting, Residential Lighting Families, and Mailboxes.

3. Select a Mounting System

Our street sign mounting accessories are designed to complement the high-end look of Special Lite Product’s signage products.  We offer decorative Side Mounting Brackets and Pole Top Mounting Brackets to further enhance the style of your signage system.

4. Select Sign Blades

Street Sign Blades are available in standard sizes and custom lengths as well as custom shapes and sizes.  A wide variety of colors and fonts are on hand to bring your street signs to life.  We can even place logos and line art images on sign blades.

5. Select the Traffic Sign Frames and Plates

Turns your housing plan into a detail oriented, upscale development with traffic sign frames and back plates for a custom street signage system.  A variety of sizes and shapes come undrilled to allow for custom mounting.

We also sell street sign mounting, brackets, and vandal proof bolts for mounting the sign frames and back plates.

6.  Select the DOT Regulatory Signs

You do not need to go elsewhere to find standard traffic signage.  Special Lite Products carries all Department of Transportation Regulartory traffic signage in both Engineer Grade and High Intensity Prismatic blades.

7.  Select a Topper or Finial

Complete your custom signage with a decorative pole topper or finial.  Select from our popular Pole toppers including our Ball Topper and a stylish Horse Head Topper.  We have a several toppers for square posts and two decorative finials for top mounted flat blades.

• Main Street Series Aluminum Posts.  Square poles with sculpted corners and accent flutes give the Main Street decorative street sign post a unique appeal.
